High Above Seattle

I arrived back into California today but had to share some pictures from a beautiful Monday in Seattle.  No rain clouds in sight, clear and sunny in all directions.  Just the perfect day to enjoy the Space Needle and waterfront Ferris Wheel.

We lunched at the Space Needle enjoying great food and beautiful views.  The restaurant rotates slowly so the scenery changes while you dine.  And then it was up to the observation deck.  I’m sure this place gets super crowded on weekends and holidays but for a sunny Monday, the crowds weren’t bad.

Then since it was my last day to enjoy Seattle we moved our city viewing to the waterfront and the Great Ferris Wheel which is enclosed and heated so even in the cold you can enjoy the view.

The Space Needle doesn’t look that high from down below but it’s the perfect height to get a nice panoramic view and still see the details down on the ground.  And the sunset over the water from the Ferris Wheel was a perfect ending to the day.
