Yesterday morning I woke up to this view. A light dusting of snow that was gone once the sun hit the peaks. Despite the wind, it was still a beautiful day. It is easy to complain about a little bit of rain but the water is badly needed. The sierras evidently picked up some snow as well and this is great news for our rivers. My parents report that the Sacramento river is up 15 feet by their house! Hopefully the water will stay up so that we can have some river fun during the summer.
